  • ON POLYAMORY

Polyamory, like petrichor, is the art of holding many textures at once — each relationship its own rainfall, its own scent rising from the earth. This celebration is shaped by the people who make our lives fuller, softer, and more intentional. Thank you for witnessing the ways love expands without losing its center.

  • On Petrichor

Petrichor is the scent of the earth remembering rain. For us, it’s the perfect metaphor for returning to each other — an aroma of renewal, grounding, and quiet awe. The ring blessing is built around that moment of recognition.

  • On the Ring Ceremony

We’re eloping in Scotland the following week, carried off to the Isle of Skye, where mist favors the mountains. This gathering allows our nearest and dearest to anchor us before we go. Your blessings are the first rainfall on the soil we’re standing on.

  • On What to Say

Contributions to the ritual may take any expressive form blooming in your heart: You’re welcome to offer a wish, a poem, a story, a laugh — interpretive dance is absolutely on the table. Offer whatever rises naturally — anything that carries sincerity, warmth, or weather.

  • On Documentation

To preserve the quiet, elemental nature of the ritual, the space will remain fully unplugged. Please refrain from photography or recording during the ceremony. Our creative team will capture the moment, and we will share the collected imagery once the clouds have cleared. Thank you for helping keep our space sacred, quiet, and unbroken.

  • On additional guests

This installation’s opening ritual is intentionally intimate — an experience curated for only those named on your invitation. Each attendee will be invited to offer a personal blessing, and the scale must remain small for the atmosphere to hold. Your full constellation of loved ones is warmly welcomed to join the celebratory downpour at the reception later that evening.

  • On Dogs in the Space

Some attendees will be accompanied by task-trained service dogs. As working members of the installation, they must not be touched, addressed, or distracted. Please allow them to move through the space with purpose and dignity, without invasive questions to their handlers.

  • On Accessibility

The venue is fully accessible: adaptive equipment can navigate the exhibition with ease, and all restrooms meet ADA standards. If you need anything specific to feel at ease, just tell us—this atmosphere isn’t complete without you.

  • On Parking

Parking is complimentary and located directly beside the venue. Van-accessible spaces with ramps and covered access are available for blue placard holders.
